SOP for Telecalling
1. Accessing Leads
- Leads will be shared on a Google Sheet.
- Always log in using the email ID provided to us.
- The sheet will include business details like:
- Business name & type
- Phone number
- Google Maps link
- Address, etc.
2. Pre-Call Research
Before making a call, spend 30 seconds to 1minutes researching the business:
- Google Maps: Check business listing, photos, reviews.
- Website: Confirm if they have one, note down key services/products.
- Social Media: Look for their presence on Facebook, Instagram.
- Contact Info: Cross-check if there’s a different phone/email on their website or social pages. Note this in the sheet.
3. Business Analysis
Perform a quick study to understand:
- Current website quality (if any).
- Social media activity and engagement.
- Customer reviews & online reputation.
- Marketing efforts (ads, promotions, branding).
- Gaps/opportunities where our services can help.
4. Making the Call
- Greet politely and introduce yourself & Webmasters.
- Confirm you are speaking to the right person (owner/decision-maker).
- Pitch briefly: “We help businesses grow online with websites, social media ads, and WhatsApp marketing.”
- Use the telecalling script to ask discovery questions about their business.
- Offer relevant solutions (website design, ads, WhatsApp marketing, banners/videos) based on their needs.
5. Handling Unreachable Leads
If the number doesn’t connect:
- Website Contact: Check the website contact page to see if there is a different contact numbr.
- Voicemail: Leave a polite callback message.
- WhatsApp: Check if the number is active; if yes, drop a short intro message.
Always update the Google sheet with actions taken.
6. Documentation
- Record call status in the sheet:
- Connected / Not Connected / Call Back Later / Interested / Not Interested.
- Note down alternate numbers/emails if found.
- Mention follow-up date/time if agreed with the prospect and highlight the lead if necessary.
